Fertility
I am no stranger to infertility. My husband and I waited five long years to finally see that most amazing word…PREGNANT!
I understand the reality of living the emotional roller coaster of budding hope that crashes to deep depression every 28 days.
I understand the desperate desire for a baby in a way that only someone who has suffered this particular struggle can.
BUT THAT EMOTIONAL DESPERATION CAN BE DANGEROUS
So many of our fertility treatments are rife with ethical dilemmas, but we shy away from discussing the very real consequences of playing God with human life because nobody wants to cause more pain to someone who is already struggling so much.
Unfortunately, it does not change the fact that there are so many questions that must be grappled with within the fertility industry.
These conversations must be handled with care, but it is so important that they take place!

"Love getting to read through real, raw experiences and know that there are others out there who have gone through some of the same things. It's also a great reminder that you really have no idea what others are going through. It's nice to get solid Biblical advice for things I may not feel comfortable talking about with anyone, especially in Christian communities where the fear of judgment is really strong.
